A show set to air on ABC2 tells the story of unsung heroes right in your back yard.
It's called "VFC Strong" and it takes viewers inside the world of Maryland volunteer firefighters.
"They see a lot of really terrible things, so they have senses of humor that are a little off color, they love telling stories, they love to debate the issues of the day, but it's amazing to watch them go from debating to that alarm goes off, man, they snap into action," Rick Otenasek, executive producer of the show, said.
