Guns don't kill people -- toddlers do, at least that's the message in a new satirical PSA.

The Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence released a satirical ad which says someone is shot by a toddler at least once a week.

New research seems to support it. According to the CDC, in 2014, 74 minors died from accidental shootings. The AP and USA Today actually put that figure at 113 for the year.

The head of the Brady Campaign hopes the tongue-in-cheek PSA gets people about talking gun safety.

Dan Gross explains the group's main push is for more laws regarding background checks and restrictions on people which the group says shouldn't have a gun.

"This hopefully furthers in a satirical and hopefully entertaining way furthers an important dialog in this country what we can do and what we all agree on will make us all safer," he said.
