ProjectSPACE is an initiative to increase the availability of on-street parking in Baltimore City by installing and reserving highly-accessible, American with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant meters for people with disabilities.
The project will also remove the parking meter payment exemption for vehicles displaying a disability placard or license plate.
Phase 2 will expand the project to the Fells Point and Harbor East areas in late September.
Peter Little and Nollie Woods from ProjectSPACE joined ABC2's In Focus to discuss the project and what residents can expect during Phase 2.
