A  new report shows obesity is becoming a global problem.  According to the study published in Lancet, 1 in 5 people will be obese by 2025.

Researchers looked at Body Mass Index trends in nearly 200 countries from 1975 to 2014. The study found global obesity rates tripled for men and doubled for women in that timeframe. The United States tops the list with the highest obese population.

Dr. Bruce Y. Lee is the Director of the Global Obesity Prevention Center at Johns Hopkins. He joined ABC2's In Focus with perspective on how doctors are having problems trying to prevent obesity from becoming a bigger problem around the world.
