Debunking myths about mental illness and violence

Do people who struggle with mental illness tend to be violent? 

Research shows media reports make it seem like people suffering from mental illness often commit violent crimes, but the numbers don't show the same thing.

Dr. Beth McGinty, an assistant professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, joined In Focus to talk about a study she did that debunked this myth.
