Several Howard County parents say their children have gotten sick this school year, and they're blaming it on air quality in certain schools.

Earlier this month, the Principal at Pointers Run Elementary School sent a message to the Pointers Run community saying that mold was found in "several locations" in their school.

Another parent sent the ABC2 In Focus team several pictures of tiles at Glenelg High School showing what the parent believes to be water damage and mold on the ceiling.

Those tiles have since been replaced.

The school system says they are doing everything they possibly can to make sure their buildings are safe.

Tonight at 6 p.m. on ABC2 In Focus, we talk to an upset parent and find out how the school system is responding.
