Bill tries to cut sugar consumption

The Baltimore City Council is expected to pass legislation Tuesday requiring warning labels for sugar-sweetened beverages on advertisements and restaurant menus. 

Many groups support the new bill, however some oppose it saying it will hurt local business.

Ellen Valentino with the Maryland-Delaware-D.C. Beverage Association says it sends a negative message to consumers and tourists. 

"It sends a sign to consumers, residents, citizens, tourists: 'Don't eat here, don't drink here, don't shop here."

Valentino joined Kelly Swoope on ABC2's In Focus to discuss her opposition to the bill.
