Yoga can relieve aches from yard work

This weekend many of you may head outside to do some yard work.

But after a couple of hours of raking, pulling weeds and trimming we can get pretty sore.  

Yoga may help with those aches and pains.

If you're bending over a lot, be sure to take a couple of minutes and bend backwards to counteract the movement.

Moving your hips or leaning from side-to-side helps, too.

Don't be afraid to use big, elongated motions and try to do each pose for at least 8-10 seconds.

Most importantly, remember to stretch your muscles slowly.
