Women, want to reduce heart attack risk? Eat more berries

A recent study found eating three or more servings of blueberries or strawberries per week may help women reduce their risk of heart attack.

Women cut their heart attack risk by 32% when compared to those who ate berries once a month or less, even in women who ate a diet rich in other fruits and vegetables.

To get the most nutrients, the American Heart Association recommends eating berries as part of an overall balanced diet that includes other fruits and vegetables.
