A new study says we eat more when we're tired because of our response to certain smells. 

Researchers at Northwestern Universitysay a lack of sleep makes your brain more sensitive to the smell of certain foods. 

When exposed to the aroma of potato chips or cinnamon rolls, people who were sleep-deprived showed more brain activity.
