Study links dental x-rays to increased risk of developing brain tumors

There's a new study out that shows all of those x-rays we get at the dentist office may double our risk of a brain tumor, especially for children.

Researchers at the Yale School of Medicine found that people with brain tumors were two to five times as likely to have had frequent dental x-rays when they were children.

The study was based only on patients' memory of how many x-rays they had as a child.

Doctors say we need better studies to truly know whether these x-rays caused the tumors.
