Study finds link between c-sections and childhood obesity

BALTIMORE - Important news for expectant mothers, a new study finds babies born by c-section may be at higher risk for developing childhood obesity.

Researchers at Boston Children's Hospital believe it boils down to the bacteria in a newborn's stomach.

They say there's a difference between that bacteria in babies born by c-section, compared to natural birth.

But scientists stress more studies are needed to confirm the findings.
