Some parents choose different vaccine schedule

Vaccines are one of the most effective ways to prevent infectious diseases.

But a new study says parents in Oregon are choosing to follow an alternative immunization schedule, which delays shots or spaces them further apart.

The study found more than 4,500 children were consistently delaying vaccines recommended by the CDC.

Parents say they are worried about too many shots in a single visit and the side-effects of those vaccines.
