Rehabbing from breast cancer

Each year thousands of women are treated for breast cancer, and even after they leave the hospital, the pain can linger.

Doctors say it is common for women to have problems like weakness, swelling and restricted range of motion.

So more physicians are now suggesting patients go to rehab to treat the side effects of surgery.

Doctors say they are referring patients to rehab more aggressively than before.

Rehab will not make the impairments go away completely, but can help a woman get back to the lifestyle they had before cancer.
