More bacteria can keep your weight down

Are you someone who gains ten pounds just by looking at a dessert while your friends can eat anything and never gain a pound?

Researchers at the University of Maryland say they may have at least one reason for that and it's not diet and exercise.

It's bacteria.

Researchers say they've found 26 different types of bacteria in the human digestive system that appear to be linked to obesity.

More studies need to be done, but if the bacteria really does cause obesity it may lead to treatments down the road.
