Johns Hopkins researchers think they know how to fix the flu mist vaccine.

Researchers from the Bloomberg School of Public Health say they found an overlooked mutation in one of the strains of the flu used to build the nasal spray vaccine.

They say the mutation could be altered to make the vaccine work better.

Last year the CDC advised against using the flu mist because it offered little protection from the flu.
