FDA considering new warning labels for birth control pills

Federal health regulators are thinking about adding new warning labels on birth control pills such as Yaz.

Several large studies have suggested the rate of blood clots with some of the newer contraceptives is slightly higher.

The FDA says the evidence is not conclusive.

But it will ask outside experts to weigh in on the issue and determine whether some women should not take the drugs.
