Exercise lowers risk of cancer

 

We all know that exercising is good for your health. Did you know that it can also help lower your risk of 
cancer?
 
Studies show exercise is linked to reduced breast, colon, endometrial and prostate cancer risk. Regular exercise is always best but researchers say that something as simple as getting up every few hours and moving 
around can help reduce your risk as well.
 
If you have a desk job, it's a good idea to get up and move -- like using the copy machine farthest away or getting up for a drink of water occasionally.
   
There are plenty of opportunities throughout the day to be more active -- like when watching television. Commercials are a great time to get up and move around.
