Eat one egg a day, it's good for your health

Eggs are a popular breakfast staple. But in the last few years, doctors have warned people to limit how much they eat especially if they have high cholesterol.

Now doctors and nutritionists are changing their minds.

One whole egg can be part of our diet.

According to the Mayo Clinic, the average healthy person should limit daily cholesterol intake to 300 milligrams a day.

One egg has 186 milligrams of cholesterol.

But it also has 13 essential vitamins and minerals and is packed with plenty of protein and antioxidants, which are good for the heart.

And it only has 70 calories.
