Before you know it, summer will be here and for some of you, getting in that swimsuit is enough motivation to get in shape.
But it's not that easy.
According to research, we get in our own way and make excuses to skip the gym.
The main excuse? Most people say they are too tired to workout.
But studies have actually shown a little sweat can leave you feeling energized.
The second reason? Mother nature. It's either too hot outside or sometimes too cold or it's raining.
But you don't have to go anywhere, you can use an exercise DVD, you can get dumbbells or a resistance ball to use at home.
Personal trainers also recommend putting your workout into a smartphone or calendar and treat it just like you would a doctor's appointment.
