When Tom and Kristen Hewitt saw three tiny heartbeats during an ultrasound, they knew their lives were about to change.
Trip, Finn, and Ollie, “the human hat trick” were born at GBMC in October of 2015.
The boys’ world has expanded as they get older and more mobile, and Tom and Kristen are excited to see what each new phase brings. From crawling to walking to running, the boys love playing and keeping their parents on their toes.
The couple takes breaks as they come. “We never know if it’s going to be a one alarm, two alarm, or three alarm.” Kristen explains. “We relax when there are small opportunities.”
A closely followed schedule and color coding system keep the household running smoothly.
“We like to refer to them as a team. That’s what we are.” Tom said.
