Boys' behavior in class could affect grades

Parents, the way your son behaves in the classroom could be affecting his grades.

A new study finds that boys in elementary school got lower grades than they would have based on test scores, mostly because their teachers held their classroom behavior against them.

Researchers found that when assessing kids' academic abilities, teachers factored in their classroom behaviors.

The study followed 6,000 mostly white, black and Hispanic students from kindergarten through fifth grade.
