Baby boomers turning to competitive sports

Baby boomers are changing the way some people think about retirement. No more lounging around. Lots of retirees are doing intense physical activities. They are focusing on getting healthy and staying fit.

Ernestine Shepherd is from the Baltimore area.  She is 75 years old, but  says she feels about 45. She made a huge transition about 20 years ago. She says she used to be a couch potato, but now works out regularly.

In fact, she is in the Guiness Book of World Records. She has won three body building competitions.

All around the country, more retirees are turning to competitive sports.
