Mesa, Arizona police confirms former Baltimore Raven Todd Heap was behind the wheel in his driveway Friday afternoon when he accidentally hit and killed his 3-year-old daughter with his truck.
According to ABC15 in Arizona, it happened at a home near Eagle Crest Drive and Las Sendas Mountain Drive in Mesa just before 4 p.m.
Heap's daughter was in the driveway when he went to move his truck and he hit her. Police say all indications point to this being an accident.
Todd Heap was drafted in the first round by the Baltimore Ravens in 2001 and played 10 seasons with the Ravens before moving to the Cardinals and then into retirement.
