Morgan State University was recently recognized on a national level for its success with helping their students succeed in the classroom.
Last week the university was honored with the Student Success Award at the Hobsons Education Advances Awards, an annual conference on higher education.
As a historically black university that enrolls many low-income, first-generation students, since implementing the Starfish Enterprise Success Platform the university says they have seen improvement in graduation and retention rates.
Morgan tied with Northeast Wisconsin Technical College for the award.
