Maryland colleges makes best colleges list

Thirteen colleges in Maryland have made Forbes list of the country's top 650 colleges.

The schools were ranked based on things such as how well their graduates do, professor evaluations, how well their graduates do and how well they hold on to students into their sophomore year.

These are the Maryland school in order of how they were ranked:

The Naval Academy in Annapolis took the top for Maryland coming in at number 43.

Johns Hopkins ranked number 67.

St. John's College, number 143.

Washington College, number 146.

St. Mary's College, number 153.

Goucher College came in at 159.

Loyola University ranks number 164.

University of Maryland, College Park came in at number 168.

Hood College, number 345

Towson University,  number 384.

University Of Maryland, Baltimore County, number 476.

Bowie State , number 598

Morgan State was ranked number 647.

Princeton University was ranked first on the list, and Williams College came in at number 2.
