Book Drive supports Baltimore City Head Start Program

BALTIMORE - Notre Dame of Maryland University, United Way of Central Maryland and Baltimore City Head Start team up to encourage reading.

More than 150 volunteers will pack summer reading bags to be distributed to Baltimore City Head Start students.

It's part of the President's Day of Service.  It will provide more than 10,000 new books to children enrolled in Baltimore City Head Start.

The event takes place on Sunday April 7th from 10am to 2pm at MBK Gymnasium on the campus of Notre Dame of Maryland University at 4701 North Charles Street in Baltimore.
