Baltimore Elementary School children will vote for the next U.S. President

BALTIMORE - Baltimore Elementary School students are participating in a nation-wide mock election a week before the rest of the nation votes. 

"I Voted" stickers will be worn by children who vote.  Millions of elementary school students all around the country will cast their vote for the next U.S. President through the Every Kid Votes event.

Every Kid Votes is a nation-wide mock election program for elementary school students.  It begins on Tuesday with a week long absentee voting period.

Most schools are expected to participate on October 30th when real time results will be available online.

During the last Every Kid Votes event in 2008, over 6 million students voted.
