Baltimore County Public Schools is in the midst of their annual school supply drive, to ensure a successful start to the new school year.

Community members are asked to drop off donations to the large cardboard boxes displayed at all 19 branches of the Baltimore County Public Libraries. School supplies of all kinds are more than welcome, but the biggest needed items are folders, composition books/notebooks, pencils, crayons, highlighters/markers, glue sticks, scissors, backpacks, binders, pens and Post-It notes.

Once the drive ends donations will be taken to a central location at White Marsh Mall and sorted for Baltimore County Public School teachers to visit and pick up items for their students in need.

The "Back to School Involves You, Too" Campaign," runs through Sunday, August 13.
