A missing 4-year-old who may have been linked to a car with Maryland tags has been found safe by Baltimore police.

Police said they will not release any further information about the child's whereabouts for his safety.

An AMBER Alert was issued Wednesday in Florida for Norris Dail, Jr., whom police said may have been in the company of his father, Norris Dail, Sr.

According to WJXT in Jacksonville, police are investigating whether Dail Sr.'s disappearance with his son is linked to the death of his girlfriend, who was found in a Jacksonville apartment complex Wednesday.

Norris Dail and the victim's car -- a silver 2000 Mitsubishi Galant, with Maryland specialty tag number 1BK9546-- is still being sought.

The specialty tag is Baltimore Ravens themed. There is also a Baltimore Ravens sticker on one of the windows.
