A man in Cecil County was arrested Wednesday morning after investigators say he possessed and distributed child pornography.
Freddie Emerson Crockett, 39, is charged with three counts of distribution of imagery of a minor engaged in sexual conduct and six counts of possession of imagery of an individual under the age of 16 engaged in sexual conduct.
The Maryland State Police Computer Crimes Unit had Crockett on their radar after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reached out to them in October. Investigators were able to find that the IP address used by Crockett was coming from a house in Earleville.
Troopers came to Crockett's house Wednesday morning and arrested him. Crockett is now waiting to see a District Court Commissioner.
