Prince George's County man charged with human trafficking

Made $2,000 a day forcing girl to have sex

A 16-year-old girl has been rescued from being held captive as a sex slave in a one bedroom basement apartment in Prince George’s County.

The teen had been live in filthy conditions and was coerced into having sex with men.

“She was being held in there. She was being fed crack and exchanging sex for money with whoever her pimp could find,” Sgt. Dave Coleman, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County Police Department, said.

Police charged Saleh Jamar Pointer with human trafficking.

Officials said he made $2,000 a day from forcing the girl into having sex with men.

The girl told police she couldn’t count the number of men she had to be with.
