Man killed in car in northeast Baltimore

BALTIMORE - A man was shot and killed in his parked car in northeast Baltimore Monday, Baltimore police officials confirmed. 

Officers Tuesday night were dispatched to the 2400 block of Wellbridge Drive in northeast Baltimore for a shooting at about 10 p.m.. 

Homicides detectives were called to the scene for a report of a man who was shot in a parking of the Wellington Gate Apartments, just north of north of Northern Parkway and east of Mt. Pleasant Golf Course. 

Police said the man was shot several times while sitting in his BMW. He was transported from the scene in critical condition sometime after 10 p.m. The BMW had Pennsylvania license plates.

From Baltimore police: 

This evening at approximately 9:50pm, officers responded to the 2400 block of Wellbridge Drive for a report of a shooting. When officers arrived they found an adult male, inside of a vehicle, shot multiple times. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
