Surveillance footage: Burglar caught on camera inside Ellicott City home

A $500 reward is offered

Burglars stole cash, documents, jewelry and a safe out of an Ellicott City home on June 20, according to Howard County police.

Officials release surveillance video from inside the home that shows one of the suspects, a woman wearing dark clothing.

Police are offering a $500 reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

On June 20, burglars broke a window to get inside a home in the 5100 block of Crestwood Lane at about 10:45 a.m.

“Through investigation, detectives have learned that additional suspects were likely involved,” according to the release. “Police are asking anyone with information to call (410) 313-STOP. A reward of up to $500 is being offered for information.”
