Several acts of vandalism and other criminal incidents have occurred at River Hill High School over the last few months, and Howard County Police are offering a $500 reward for information leading to the suspects’ identities.

Police said door locks at the school were found damaged, and graffiti was found Thursday morning. Students were kept outside while K9 units canvassed the building.

The incidents date back to April 29, when there was a small fire on the footpath behind the school. And on May 4, a Molotov cocktail was found on the tennis courts. In addition, the tires of multiple cars in the school parking lot were slashed, and graffiti was discovered on the windows.

On May 10, another Molotov cocktail was found on the tennis courts.

And on May 19, graffiti that included slurs and profanity was spray-painted on the athletic fields.

Police are unsure if the same group of suspects is responsible for all of the incidents.
