Police offer reward for information about Ellicott City bank robbery

ELLICOTT CITY, Md. - Howard County police are offering a reward for information pertaining to a bank robbery in Ellicott City, according to a release.

A man pulled a gun on a teller at the PNC Bank in the 4300 block of Montgomery Road Monday at about 4:50 p.m. The suspect was seen exiting a silver Jeep Cherokee before the robbery.

There were no injuries.

The man wore a knit cap to cover his face. Police described him as a black male with light complexion, standing about 5-foot-7 to 6-feet tall, weighing 170 pounds.

Police are offering a reward up to $500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
