A man's car was shot while he was driving on I-95 just before 4 a.m. Thursday. He was on his way to work.

The man was driving on I-95 South near Route 32 in Savage, Md. He said he heard a loud pop. The driver didn't think much of it until he got to work, when he saw two holes in his car.

Maryland State Police say there's no double the holes are from gunshots. "

Our Maryland State Police crime scene did process the vehicle and they are bullet holes," said Sgt. DaVaughn Parker with Maryland State Police. "We found fragments in the floor board of the vehicle itself."

One thing that isn't clear is whether it was a random shooting or not. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police.
