Howard County Police search for information in vehicle vandalism

Howard County Police are investigating a string of vehicle vandalism cases that took place overnight on Wednesday and Thursday.

According to police, the acts of vandalism appear to be random and do not target specific people or groups of people.

Police received reports from Jessup, Columbia and Ellicott City.

Over the two evenings 23 people reported spray paint on their cars and in some cases slashed tires.

The spray paint was used to paint “Trump” and “Pence” on some cars while others were painted with profanity or scribble.

These incidents are currently under investigation and police are offering a reward anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.
