Family and Friends hold prayer vigil for 14-year-old killed in Laurel

COLUMBIA, Md. (WMAR) - Family, friends, and community members gathered at a local middle school in prayer and remembrance of Xavier Young, the 14-year-old boy shot and killed in Laurel on October 28th.

The prayer vigil was held Thursday evening at the Harper's Choice Middle School Field in Columbia.

Community members including the Columbia Ravens Football Team, Meade Mustangs, and Laurel Steelers were at the vigil to pay their respects.
