Police said the husband and wife, both 48-years-old, were found in the family’s backyard in the 4600 block of Sheppard Lane after 10:30 p.m. They were both flown to Shock Trauma where they later died.
Officers responded after receiving a call from one of the couple’s teenage sons. The family’s three teen children were believed to all be at home at the time of the shooting, according to a release.
The motive is still unknown.
No one else is believed to have been involved.
