BEL AIR, Md. - Three Harford County boys have been charged for detonating soda bottle bombs over the weekend in Bel Air.
Deputy State Fire Marshals say the boys, a 12-year-old and two 13-year-olds, made and detonated six soda bottle bombs on the property of the Harford Day School in Bel Air on Saturday.
Officials say the boys confessed, and explained they learned how to make the bombs online.
No one was injured and no property damage was reported.
The boys were charged with six counts of manufacture, possession and use of a destructive device, and six counts of reckless endangerment.
