Police investigating links to recent violence

EDGEWOOD, Md. - A teenager turned a knife on attackers Friday night in Edgewood, sending the would-be thugs to the hospital police say.

Around 11:40 p.m. Harford County police were called to the 1600 block of Candlewood Court for a report of a possible stabbing. The victim grabbed the knife and while defending himself cut two of his attackers.

Police found the two suspects a short time later. One, a 20-year-old man was found in the 1600 block of Meadowood Court. Medics w treated him for cuts to his thigh and transported him to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital.

Police found a second suspect, a 19-year-old male, on Burlington Court. He was taken to Bayview for lacerations to his upper body. Both suspects’ injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
