Harford County Sheriffs' Department say they were notified around 10:36 a.m. of an armed bank robbery at the BB&T located in the 1000 block of Gateway Road in Edgewood.
Deputies responded and soon learned the suspect entered the bank, displayed a weapon, and fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
The suspect’s vehicle was spotted some time later in the area of Hillswood Road in Bel Air.
The suspect was arrested without incident and taken into custody for questioning, deputies said. There were no injuries reported in this incident.
Hillswood Road remains closed as the active investigation continues.
