BEL AIR, Md. (WMAR) -
Police in Harford County are looking for man responsible for a tanning salon robbery.
Sheriff's spokesperson Captain Keith Warner says the robbery happened Tuesday night at about 8:45 p.m. at the Aruba Tanning in the Greenbrier Shopping Center.
Warner says the man entered the business through the front door and demanded money. The clerk gave him an undisclosed amount of money before he fled the area.
The Sheriff's K9 Unit tracked the suspect to a nearby apartment complex called Seasons at Bel Air where they lost the scent. Police believe the suspect may have gone into one of the apartments.
No one was injured in the robbery and there were no weapons displayed.
The suspect was described as a white male with a thin build about 5'7" tall wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants and a yellow bandanna or shirt covering his face.
