Deputies arrested a man in Baltimore on Thursday night in connection to a shooting that occurred in Edgewood last Wednesday.

On December 30 at approximately 10 p.m., deputies from the Harford County Sheriff's Office were called to a home in the 900 block of Topview Drive in Edgewood for reports of a person shot.

When officers arrived they found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds.  The male victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Preliminary investigations found the victim was with a female when they were approached by four black male suspects when they opened fire.

Investigators were able to identify two of the suspects as Ronald Scaife, 22, and Deonte Copenhaver, 21.

Arrest warrants with numerous charges were issued for both Scaife and Copenhaver by a District Court Commissioner.

Detectives located Scaife in Baltimore, and with assistance from Baltimore Police, placed him under arrest.

Anyone with information about the crime or Copenhaver's whereabouts should call the Harford County Sheriff's Office at 410-836-5478.

Information leading to the arrest and conviction of Copenhaver may make those with tips eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000.
