Man shot after an argument in Aberdeen

The Harford County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a man was shot in Aberdeen Sunday afternoon.

Officers were called just before 1 p.m. to the 200 block of Mayberry Lane for an assault report.

When they arrived, a witness told them a man had been shot and was already being transferred to Harford Memorial Hospital by a civilian.

The victim has since been identified as 24-year-old Mustieen Rashiad Council of Aberdeen. He is expected to survive.

Police have been searching in the area and believe the victim and the suspect were in an argument before the suspect pulled out a gun and shot Council.
