A man was charged after a road rage incident in Abingdon Thursday.
Maryland State Police said 23-year-old Bradley R. Krueger of Abingdon was charged with first and second-degree assault after he reportedly pointed a handgun at another car while at the intersection of South Tollgate Gate Road and Route 24.
Police received a call around 5:30 a.m. from a victim who said a gray Chevrolet Trailblazer was driving erratically on South Tollgate Road and pointed a handgun at the victim, according to police.
The victim then sped off and was followed by Krueger who continued to drive erratically, police said. Both drivers exited onto southbound I-95, and the suspect threw an unknown object at the victim’s car.
Krueger later pulled into a Royal Farms location on Pulaski Highway in Middle River where he was arrested. A vehicle search revealed a black BB gun that resembled a semi-automatic handgun.
