Two victims were injured by a single bullet Friday night, according to the Harford County Sheriff's Office.
At around 10:17 p.m., Southern Precinct officers responded to the 400 block of Gateshead Court for a report of an assault. Police discovered Ruben Coyoy, 39, and Jacinto Alverez Marraquin, 35, suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were sitting outside a residence when two unidentified black males approached them and one shot at the victims as they tried to reenter the residence.
Coyoy was shot in the lower body and Alvarez Marroquin in the upper torso. Both were transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital Bayview Medical Center were they are in serious, but stable condition.
