Feds find 30 kilos of drugs in motor home in Aberdeen

ABERDEEN, Md. - Federal officials found more than 30 kilograms of drugs in a motor home in early August.

According to court documents, the FBI arrested Edward Richards III for possession with intent to distribute cocaine and heroin.  In June someone tipped the FBI about the drug shipment from Compton, California to Aberdeen.

In early August, FBI agents saw the motor home in a driveway in Aberdeen.  They got a search warrant, detained Richards and searched his motor home.  Inside they found 25 kilograms of cocaine and 6 kilograms of heroin.

Richards is being held awaiting his next court date.
