FALLSTON, Md. -
Harford County police think the same man may be behind two armed robberies at the Fallston post office in the past six months.
The most recent incident happened on Saturday April 27 at the Benson Brach of the post office at 108 Connolly Road. Around 11:30 a.m officers were called to the location for a report of an armed robbery.
Witnesses told police that a white man decked out in a camouflage shirt and pants, sunglasses and a hat walked into the post office with a gun and announced a robbery. He then jumped over the counter and stole cash before fleeing on foot toward the 1800 block of Harford Road.
Deputies canvassed the area but the man was not found.
Police are saying the robbery is similar to one that happened at the same post office in December. During that robbery, a white man wearing a baseball hat and dark sunglasses entered the bank posing as a customer. As a postal worker opened the cash register the man pulled a gun and stole cash from behind the counter. He also fled toward Harford Road.
